January 6, 2016 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Regular Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on January 6, 2016 at 7:50 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

 

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

 

Commissioners Present: Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Sr. Bill Higgins, Jr. Ray Hughes

 

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

 

Commissioner Higgins and Commissioner Sheehan will be having the meeting with the architect on Tuesday if any of the other commissioners are available they are more than welcome to join.

 

Commissioner Higgins will be looking to purchase new chairs for the hall.

Commissioner Higgins was just informed before the meeting that a pager is missing. Might have to buy a new but are still looking.

Hired a company for the election on February 20. Commissioner Higgins, Jr. will be in charge.

 

Commissioner Hughes gave an update on the new program they started with two guys working on days. It is working out well so far.
