April 6, 2016 Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners Agenda Meeting

The regular meeting of the Colonia Board of Fire Commissioners took place at the Colonia Firehouse on April 6, 2016 at 7:30 pm. The meeting was called to order by Board President Ray Hughes followed by a moment of silence for departed members.

Notice of the meeting was advertised in the Home News Tribune and the Asbury Park Press and at Town Hall.

Commissioners present: Ed Sheehan, Bill Higgins, Jr. and Ray Hughes

Excused: Jim Souza and Bill Higgins, Sr.

Also Present:   Firefighter Giardina and President Garrett

Buildings and Grounds, Commissioner Sheehan

Commissioner Higgins has a quote for the roof and electric to be installed. Also has the prints for the kitchen.

Water and Hydrants, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

Water Company coming out to do flushing. We are not in this cycle. We are in the fall cycle.

Heritage wanted the Fire Company to service their private hydrants and we said no.

Insurance, Commissioner Hughes

Worker's Comp. billed us for 82 instead of 52.

Alarms and Radios, Commissioner Higgins, Jr.

Progress.

Trucks and Equipment, Commissioner Sheehan

12-34 has been serviced.

12-3 the cabinet was repaired and the stripping was put back on the vehicle.

12-21 took generator down and sent it out.
